Let’s Panic About Babies!

When I write a book, I want it to be a funny and snarky as Let’s Panic About Babies. This is not your typical pregnancy book. Not even close.

But, like other books, it includes helpful tips like “Social Acceptable Places to Barf” which gives a clear chart for your barfing etiquette. At home, acceptable places are toilet, wastebasket, empty paint can while unacceptable places are cutlery drawer, fish tank and dishwasher. Good to know, right?

Also, it tells you what to expect about your changing body. Tidbits that you won’t see in other pregnancy books such as:

Your natural body oder will become meatier. Packs of feral dogs will chase you down the street.”

or

Dante’s Nine Stages of Labor,” my personal favorite which begins in “The Vestibule of Hell” and ends with, well, you’ll see when you read it.

Also, this book tests your knowledge with handy quizzes such as in the early stages – “Quiz for Fetuses: What kind of Nursery Theme Should Your Mommy and / or Daddy Choose” and “What Kind of Parent Will Your Partner Be.”
The Let’s Panic About Babies Book Trailer will make you reminisce about the good old days of film strips and old-style parenting. (If you can stop laughing long enough.)

I think this would make a GREAT book for your newly pregnant girlfriends. Don’t you?
