This Three Little Pigs honors famous architects Frank Gehry, Phillip Johnson, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

In this retelling, each of the pigs’ houses reflect the signature style of his architect — constructed not with hay, sticks or brick but with glass, stone, concrete or scraps.  Even cooler, but probably not for adults as much as kids, the houses are filled with famous designers’ furnishings.

Have a budding architect in the family?  This book is for them!

Book Play: Design a home for a small animal.  Use recycled materials like cardboard, foil, plastic bottles and newspaper.  Hold together with glue or tape.
