Oh, how I love this book! My kids do, too. It’s a full length version of Peter Pan and it will awe you with its marvelous three-dimensional pop-ups and realistic sound effects.

Look at the first page below.

Open to this page and you’ll hear the clock chiming and see Peter, Wendy, John and Michael fly out of the page toward you.  The right side flap which opens begins the words of the story.

The story of Peter Pan — if you haven’t read the original version (which is much better than Disney’s) — is an adventure filled with great characters, interesting plot twists and imaginative settings.

My favorite page is the next-to-last page titled “Captain Pan“.  Soft pink clouds surround an enormous ship with full, white sails, a pirate flag and several children.  Soothing music plays.  Aaah. All is well. Peter Pan will take the children home and he and his boys would fly on.

Peter Pan, the Classic Story Pop-up Book with Sounds from Silver Dolphin Books, is more than a book — it’s an experience. I absolutely loved it.
